Tattooed Fish?

I was in a pet shop and noticed some very odd looking cichlids. I have always been into Cichlids but I didnt recognize any of these. They were various colors. One had red and blue spots, another had bright orange stripes...

I asked the person working there what was up with them. She told me that they were tattooed! Unbelievable, now they are tattooing pet store fishies!

 

That is pretty weird. I'd imagine it will be very difficult to tattoo a fish so I guess they will be quite expensive.

 

Did you believe her?

 

Is that possible? :|

 

I wonder if she did appear in a newspaper.

Yes, I did believe her. I know that there aren't any natural Cichlids that have colorations like that. Oh, by the way, they were African Cichlids.

I would like to see some with hair implants! Now that would be funny

Tattooed fish have polka dots, stripes and pink hearts. They are imported from Singapore.
