Here is the question for all webmasters. How do you plan for recording breaking success? lmao 17.842 million. http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/index.asp?cycle=2008 You can see that we've beaten everyone's Q3 fund raising, Romney loaned himself several million, but it doesn't matter because I think $20 million is within reach now.
Haahaaaa!!! That is awesome!!! All those who donated today have been part of history! You should all be proud of yourselves.
Finally, now I can go to bed and sleep like a rock lol. Impressive work everyone! Have a great night.
Mission Accomplished! Wooohooo! Btw, there were Tea Party's held all over America today. Austin Texas, Columbus Ohio, Boston Massachusetts, Santa Monica California and many more. Amazing. In Santa Monica, they threw boxes off the pier, labeled IRS, Patriot Act, Federal Reserve etc. They're still partying down there right now. I should have a lot of video to post tomorrow. On RPR Radio, lots of people calling in saying they are 30 something, and this is the first time they will ever vote. It's a
That is awesome!!! I want to see some videos! I can proudly copy paste this: Thanks for being a part of the campaign! Your confirmation number: T271561-106668377
Over 57,500 individual donors with (supposedly) near 25,000 new/first time donors. The "earned media" that will come from this event will be huge.
I know thats crazy, forums are crawling, ticker stopped working and went backwards...It's OK though. How many people are so passionate about any other candidate?
It's because you're watching something real. It's not about Ron Paul the candidate. Someone just put it excellent on RPR radio. It's an awakening. The people are sick and tired of BS politicians, voter fraud, illegal wars, over taxation, shrinking civil liberties, corruption ... Here is the Austin, Texas MeetUp staging a Tea Party. http://www.statesman.com/news/content/news/stories/local/12/17/BMG-teaparty-6.html ~
Washington Post has a story out already: http://blog.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2007/12/16/ron_paul_beats_own_fundraising.html?hpid=topnews
Honesty... I guess he thinks he the only one who sees blue cars on the freeway. What's he gonna do about all them illegal aliens he's been inviting into the country all these years? What's he gonna do about the court incentivised break up of the American family? What's he gonna do about the loss of pension jobs as the country grows older and older? What's he gonna do about the presumption of joint custody of children in divorce? What's he gonna do about the L O S T war on drugs while our jails fill and our culture dumbs down to accomodate it? What's he gonna do about kids getting scholarships to college who can't spell cat? He's a punk with a mouth. The first time neo-con republican voters heard a flat-five and think he's fresh as lemon. Ron Paul is a punk. A new face in an old suit. The closest thing republican voters will ever come to new wave, and, trust me, that's still a long, long way to go.
First of all, you are a troll. Second of all, you have no idea who you are talking about, because earlier today, you couldn't even comprehend his platform. Check his voting record. He never invited them. Read his platform. Read his platform. Read his platform. You have no idea who you are talking about. 30 years, consistent voting record. Get some facts before you call someone a punk. You're making yourself look really foolish by writing a bunch of unsubstantiated slander.
According to gambling911's report, the 24 hour period officially ends at 3 am EST with the West Coast closure. Still time to donate if you want to be a part of history...
@dead corn - that's a typical jaded view of politics, but it belies a laziness to find out just what all the excitement is about. Most of the RP support base consists of people who were just like you, but found a renewed interest in politics/the election because Ron Paul is different and has a 30 year track record to prove it. You really should spend some time researching the man, his convictions and his platform.
Normally, I use ignorance as an opportunity to explain the platform. I didn't earlier in this thread. I will now. Loss of pension jobs, opt out of Social Security for young people. Cut foreign aid and militarism ($1 trillion a year) to cover the medicare and social security obligations. War on Drugs. End it. He's a libertarian. The war on Drugs has been a massive boondoogle, neither lowering crime, nor lowering drug use. The states can set their own drug laws. Scholarships for dumbasses who can't read his website? Close the Department of Ed, offer tax credits to homeschoolers, and anyone seeking private education. Opposes vouchers, as they can only be spent where the government tells you to spend them. Choices, but limited choices. Favors free choice on education. As far as illegals, he doesn't want to deport them tomorrow. He will secure the border with our returning troops and border security agents from Iraq. Then he wants to change the welfare system, to remove the incentive to come here illegally. If someone wants to come here and work outside the system, they won't receive the benefits of free healthcare or education at the cost of the taxpayer. Also wants to look at changing the (14th?) Amendment concerning birthright citizenship. It was originally designed so that the children of freed slaves after the civil war could become citizens. It was never meant to provide for illegals or refugees who come here and do not follow the immigration process.
