Anyone here make xx,xxx from CJ?

I am just wondering because last month was the first time I made this much a huge jump from 3k/month and my worry is will I get it?

I know they're a big company but the thing is if a merchant/advertiser deactivated their account, whatever is left in their balance will be divided to all their publishers. This happened to me before, I was not paid by an advertiser who deactivated their account. This advertiser is still very active today in other networks like azoogle and others, but they did not pay me full when they left CJ. They still owe me $100 and CJ won't shoulder that.

Most merchants pay up, it's very rare that a CJ advertiser is deactivated for not paying their bill & then CJ doesn't collect that debt... these debts (short term) can reach upwards of $100k with the biggest advertisers, so CJ has incentive to collect the money (they get ~30% on top of commissions, so if the advertiser doesn't pay up, CJ loses a lot of money too).

This month I should hit $xx,xxx and I've never had problems getting paid - I only deal with very reputable and stable advertisers in CJ.

Yes, but I've been doing it for several years and I have a good system, and LOTS of niches. ##,###.## every month for sure.

it takes time, patience, a system and a lot of work...once set up you still need to work at it.

    Good luck

Not necessarily - it all depends on what advertising methods you're using & what niches you're targeting. In my first month using Azoogle, I made more money (in the 5 figures range) than I had made in my best month at CJ.

I use both CJ and Azoogle heavily now - CJ isn't great for certain promotional types, and Azoogle isn't great for others. Find what works for you (through a reputable company), and stick with it - but don't be afraid to expand into other networks and promotional methods as well.

Nearly all the affiliates marketers I know that make this level of money use CJ. (This excludes google adsense mind you) A few do well with SAS.

Not many of the hundreds of affiliates I know personally do anything with azoogle. :)

Having just begun promoting eBay, one has to ask how long you've been working actively as an eBay affiliate and do you use ppc and/or organic? If it's ppc, do you net over $##,###.##, or is that your gross revenue? If it's your gross, what do you net? No need for specifics, of course. Just approximations. Thanks.

We don't do any PPC. It's 100% organic. My primary site has been out there almost 5 years now and has a strong following. Any new sites we've tried to start since I became familiar with affiliate marketing have been a struggle but are starting to perform to varying degrees. I've been an ebay affiliate for just over two years.

Thanks for jumping in here. Very illuminating. I've been a successful affiliate in the past, but the organic game has become tougher by logorithmic proportions. My experience is that persistance, patience and rinsing and repeating successes will win the day over the long haul. Sounds like that's what you've done, and are continuing to do. Thanks again. Very encouraging for those willing to work and learn. Much of it is experimental to see what works.

you said you are an ebay affiliate, may I ask if you are using bans?

I am also getting traffic from organic traffic that's what helped me get to the 5 digit figure.

I don't use bans. I build collectibles sites where collectors can display their collections - that sort of thing. I own a web development company so we've built all our sites from scratch.

A lot of people make significantly more than that through CJ, so I'm sure you'll receive your payout.
