I'm using a feed from eBay that I parse to show auctions on one of my sites. I'm getting this error message from eBay "Feed error Internal error to the application. (10007)" Anybody encounter that before?
The quality of tech support is just pathetic these days almost everywhere. I contacted ebay about the feed error message. They answered with half a page of platitudes and BS about how happy they are to help me. And then a one liner saying you have to have a store to use the RSS feed. Idiot.
Look for the following in your RSS URL: fsop=0 Code (markup): And remove it.. that worked for me. Hope this helps hanji
Interesting. The feed giving me the error doesn't have that field in it. But that was yesterday. Today the same feed is working. Must have been some temporary ebay issue. Thanks for the tip anyway hanji.
I had the same thing happen to one of mine and I just went back to ebay and got a new URL for the feed and it works fine now.
Can you post the RSS URL (or PM me.. and I can take a look). Seems like they're changing something with the variables or something. hanji
Here is a new one I just tried, http://rss.api.ebay.com/ws/rssapi?F...=y&satitle=ipod&afmp=&sacat=-1&saslop=1&fss=0
Looks like dfsp=1 is the problem, taking that out I was able to see results. Not sure what that's for. I'm wondering if they're dumping some old variables or something? hanji
That's the crappy part. I did go back to get a new feed and got the error when I clicked on the RSS button on the ebay page that was showing good search results. Maybe they are making changes as hanji said. But this kind of thing is pretty amateur.
Nice one hanji! That's fixed it for me too. I think it's time we put up a big list of what all the eBay feed variables are. +rep ------ EDIT: @ hanji : Re eBay variables - guess who's #1 in Google for "ebay rss variables"? Some nerd at http://www.money-code.com/node/37 (dugg!)
For one specific search I get less products on the feed than on my results page. I generate a search with a keyword and selected 1 seller to see the items from. I got 400+ products on the results page but when i click on the orange RSS button i get a feed of only 17 products Why? Anyone knows why on some searches the RSS feed show only a few items? Another question: How can i skip to the next page, the next 100 products listed on the feed? Thanks
Sweet.. glad it worked for you. So to summarize... it looks like the following can cause problems ( I also have heard adding pid in RSS URL can cause a problem, but I haven't been able to recreate this yet ) fsop=0 dfsp=1 Code (markup): If anyone else has found any more.. let's post them here! heh.. a nerd's got to do what a nerd's got to do. I'd love to get that list a bit more complete. hanji
I have been using these rss feeds from ebay for ages and never experienced this - until today :/ http://rss.api.ebay.com/ws/rssapi?F...=63732&saobfmts=exsif&fss=0&fts=2&_trksid=m37 (lol @ target matter - dont ask) works by removing the dfsp=1 though. Hopefully this doesnt stand for "do fully support payments" (lol) or soming - it probably represents an option on the search page! is all good in the hood
