That could be 4 buttons placed together, than a border added around the div. On second thoughts you can't have 4 buttons. Thats interesting.

Could it be an ad set for a premier publisher?

sure it can. its the same size as the normal large rectangle ad.. 336 x 280 i believe to be exact.. adsense just randomly changes up the format of it on this size ad.

I saw one on one of my sites that had little triangles that said (more) and when you clicked them it rotated a whole bunch of other ads. It'll probbaly be good for those that have limited space. I just checked and it's not there now, so I can't take a screenie, but I liked it.

I had this on one of my sites yesterday - it fitted in really well with my layout and I wish I had the option of just selecting that rectangle :(

    Interesting.
I guess that Google will chose the 336x280 format automatically (4 lines or 4 corners)
And with the new format some URLs Ads doesn't fit.

I've seen that one on one of my sites. Have you guys seen the one with scroll buttons, so surfers can scroll through the ads? That has been placed on my site a couple of times, as well.

I love this new format let's hope it sticks around. You know what would be sweet with these: images next them, if only Google still allowed those.

    Thank You
