I had it pre-installed a laptop I bought for my wife and had to fork out another $235 to downgrade to XP. can you imagine that. the local dealer said - they it's not free to downgrade. Can you Imagine that - I was penalised for something I didn't want to use.
Have Vista installed and generally don´t mind it, but it´s got some havy issues with drivers and some programs, too. Got to get used to it. Anyhow - I definitley prefered XP!!!
Hi ryan, i also LOVE vista....no problem for me...so far so good.... i dont know why so many dont really prefer vista....
partially agreed with u...however vista got a very high performance... and yup...it uses too many rams
I personally don't like vista for several reasons.. 1. There are STILL too many things that don't work at all on vista. 2. I've tried using vista and it seems every day there is a new problem to deal with. 3.I don't want to have to spend like $300+ dollars for the edition I want. 4.I don't like all the additional "liberties" that vista takes... I'm not a moron I don't need vista going ahead and tweaking settings and installing drivers for things without even asking me. 5.I still have yet to see a real advantage to use vista over XP... Aside from the pretty graphics..
xp has been an format that was "accepted" by all software companies. But the new software that are working on vista make troubles on XP. And most of the people use XP instead Vista.
