Gumtree Posting Problem

I have a problem with posting at gumtree, anytime i post there, my ad automatically disappears without even appearing at all. Even when i use proxy, the story is still the same. Does anyone have a solution to this?

 

I have no problem posting. I think you might have spammed them in past and they might have tracked your ip..

 

They don't like proxies - I used to do some spamming on there but whenever I used a proxy, the post didn't appear.

Looks like you'll have to find another way to promote your adultfriendfinder (if that's what you are promoting).

 

does anyone know whether gumtree automatically flag off postings that are not from gumtree locations

I think you might have spammed them in past, it happened to me before, it is not your IP that they ban, it is the url that you included in your post.

 

perhpas you arent an Uk resident Iam from holland and my ads wont show both on CL and Gumtree

I am from Malaysia and posting is not a problem for me. Perhaps it is just the record of blacklistd IPs which you had spammed them in the past.

 

I've used different IPs. Maybe they determined most the spam posts originated from the US and blocked them on certain area of Gumtree. What time of the day do you guys submit maybe that's one of my problems

 

I did not know that people are allowed to post URL in the dating sections of Gumtree

Well anyway, if it can stop loosers to spam with adultfriendfinder affiliate links it's cool

Why not buy a cheap .net domain name and redirect it to your affiliate link, that way you can also change up your ad's. or use tinyurl

 

Why don't you try and contact Gumtree and ask why? I have done this before and it worked. They had some concerns with my listing and just deleted it but after contacting them I was able to clear up a few things and they were happy for me to relist it. Why not try it?
