Most people don't worry about seo when working with a proxy. You'll get so much more traffic from top sites, links, ect... then you will from a SE. Don't get me wrong tho, it never hurts to spend a few minutes optimizing your site but don't focus on it too much.
There are 1000s of places to submit your proxy, some free some pay. Spend time posting your site to them. Start with Yahoo/Google Groups, top sites, directorys, proxy sites, stumble, digg, ect... BTW, where about do you live in Ohio? I'm 30mins from Dayton.
This is my first proxy site so I don't know the ropes Just got her going earlier today I suppose I should stay away from multisite submitters and programs that submit? Just do it manually. 45 miles SE of Columbus
