How Should I Market A Charitable Site

How should I advertise/market my site [Camp Tanzania 2009] ?

I don't want to spend any money, that would just defeat the object of raising money, and I have already started a thread in the freebies section, asking for stumbles.

What else can I do, which is free, that will help me raise awareness of my site?

 

I think you should promote that site via forums, free ad boards and etc. Also you can try to contact rotary clubs and asking them to aid those people.

Forum marketing is a great way to promote your site for free. Try to make quality posts that are helpful and informative because that will make other users more interested in you and your website.

Try to get links to your site posted on sites whose Webmasters care about the topic. Distribute flyers (you can probably find a local printer to get them printed for free), contact a few bloggers to see if they'll write about what you're doing. Things like these would certainly help.
