What payment option do you recommend

I considering to add payment options to my web sites. What payment options do exist and how do they work? Bear in mind that I stay in South Africa and that this may have some relevance for terms and conditions that apply and of course whether any such service can be offered or not.

There are few payment processors such as Paypal,MoneyBookers, egold and 2CO so you can check with them whether they support in your country or not.

If you want to accept direct credit card payments try a local merchant. If you want a widely accepted payment method try paypal or moneybookers.

Well paypal is a must since this is the prefered payment processor on the net. Moneybookers and egold make excellent additions for people who can't use paypal.

    Thanks, Smak and Kagato.

I'm also investigating having a bank account elsewhere. I.e. in the European Union, United States etc. I remember that the banks here had a problem with Paypal and the like. The bank charges are very high in South Africa. And this may convince more people to shift their accounts to the internet.

Just seen what moneybookers is offering:
    http://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=fees
I should actually advertize this more, just to be spiteful against the banks here;).

I contacted them, but heard there is a problem for users in South Africa. We are for some reason not allowed to make use of their services.
