Yes I have a domain name already. By the time this thread built up I changed my mind and thought of getting a new domain name.
I study business and economics, and the first thing we learned at university is to have a plan and set strategy to implement that plan. Now you seem to have none, so please come up with something interesting - think about it! You want to get rich with our ideas, with our labor... thats quite selfish from you
yeah, exactly, there is no incentive for us funny thing is that, we have to come up with domain, we have to come up with idea... we have to market forum, we have to be active users and this guy is getting money... This is absolutely ridiculous
I have a better idea - I'm tired of people working for no pay, so if someone sets up a forum for me, markets it and gets thousands of users... I'll give you 0.05% of what it makes in the first day
How about http://twentyfour.net There would be only one place to make new threads & they automaticly get placed in a section for whatever hour it happens to be when that thread is made. Browsing & replying however would work like everyone's used to.

Again, this doesn't add up. Why are 10, 20, or 50 people going to help you build a forum when revenue would likely be less than $500 (and that's a high as hell figure) the first month? Even if you were to somehow earn $500 just off the forum, that would be $10 a member; not worth it at all. I suggest you build your own forum and spend a few hundred on hiring forum poster
1) Each Forum category will have 2 mods. each getting paid 30% of revenues 2) Each member that joins and posts a new thread will get 20% of that threads earnings. 3) Each member that joins and posts a new post will get (40% of threads earnings divided by total number of people posted) Revenues will be earned through advertising/link sales and thrugh the buy,sell trade forums. In these forums we will have priority listings like sitepoint where people ca bid for position. Plus we can also make sure that we get other benefits from the traffic that we drive in. We can even have some point system for the payments that will let users have points and later reimburse it from us. What do you people think now?

Hmm, that's not a bad idea, really. I think a niche forum would probably work better than something so very general, but I'm interested anyway.
