Why do people think it's hard to get indexed?

I think it's really easy...

I got my new site indexed in under 8 hours...

And I didn't even add a sitemap to Google Websmaster Tools...

 

its not hard anymore coz google's robots are very aggressive to cache everything on web.

 

Getting indexed is one thing, getting ranked is another.

 

I get no result when searching site:www.jakelynagh.com

But you are right in a way!.. Its not hard to get one page indexed.. Time will index the others.

Yep, you can have 20.000 pages indexed in google. Dosnt mean your are gonna get any traffic though

Getting indexed is pretty simple nowadays, one link from here on DP and within a few hours GoogleBots will be all over your site. Like someone else said above, getting ranked is the hard part

Its already elaborated. Indexing is pretty easy hard part is getting SERP's

 

It is easy to indexed in Google especially if you post new article in your blog and the hard part is the link building on which you need to rank and to have traffic for a site.

 

Getting indexed in Google isn't really a hard thing. Just a submission to a social bookmarking site such as digg.com will help ur site to get indexed in Google within 24 hrs

What matters is SERPs which is the hard thing

 

Got indexed very soon. Dont remember the exact time but it was less than a day.
