    Yes,

You can get .biz and .us in $7.60 (OR as low as $5.99 if you buying in bulk) by using coupon code " htmli.info " in mydomain.com. They has a fine reputation and I have quite a lot of domain with them.

I checked http://www.powerhoster.com and its .us domain registration is $6.95USD per year.

The .biz is $6.95USD to December 31, 2007( it is in promotion ).

thanks i gave you rep for that lol, i never heard of them though, even though its just $0.05 less, i might just get it, i dont have big plans for the domains anyway, just to forward them

edit: i surfed through them, reminds me a whole lot like godaddy, i think they are a reseller, last reseller i had a huge problem with, so not sure if i want to go with them

Yes. You are right. powerhoster.com is a reseller of wildwest domain. All the support is given by wildwest domain, the sister company of godaddy ( and the same management group ). I think wildwest domain support group is very good.

It's $7.60 which is cheapest in among registrar. For .biz I remember 1and1 they do have a deal for $2.99, check my signature. :)

However source of the reseller will charge you a bit higher than reseller. Most of the time reseller won't have any problem. I have a domain under reseller and no problem at all. :)

Name.com has .biz & .us for $7.99 & they are reputable. Most of the reputable companies are around this price or more.

Exactly. 1&1 has a bad rep in the domaining community.

yea i have domains from them but they are very slow in updating name servers, and transfer costs more than the dam domain which is annoying lol, but i may have no choice if i want to save money

yeah but then i'd rather go to godaddy if its the sister company lol

    :D

i havent visited 1&1 site in months even though i have like 2 domains with them lol, thanks for confirmation

they are just slow, thats why people don't like them lol, their hosting is reliable but again support is crap

I'm not sure about name server updating issue as there are almost real time for my domain. Maybe It's hosting account or anything, as I have an netfirms account they required 1 day for DNS update. But no choice because I'm same like you, looking cheapestttttt........ price :D

But, just a thing I'm not sure, transfer cost more than registration cost? Are you sure? I just look at the price and It still $7.99 , and new registration $8.75 (without coupon code).

Really? Because then I see people like you come back later and complain that they suck and whine about they should be getting awesome service and aren't because that extra nickel was just tooo much.

As I said if you're serious, go with a decent registrar, anything under 10$ is pretty reasonable if you actually want service. As you approach 6 it's basically the crap service zone.

wow thats a harsh assumption dont you agree? why would you assume someone LIKE ME would come and complain and whine later about a crappy company, why do you think i would ask for a referral here?

really if you have nothing productive to say dont say anything at all - and i dont need the really awesome 24/7 service for domains, i've been dealing with them enough to know what to do and how to do it
