Place two fingers on the trackpad and click. Or tap two fingers on the trackpad. You can choose in the "System Preferences".
Actually, they do. You can select the right side of the mouse as a secondary button and there you have it.
They have always had them... Prior to the mighty mouse... 1. Buy different mouse 2. Use Apple/Command key while clicking
yah.. but they are making things more complicating. You can really do your work faster with Mac. well I've been using windows for 18 years, and happy with it. Probly Mac can perform faster, it is plug and play but not really. The devices are wayyy more expensive than windows. And lets face it, why Mac is faster nowadays? Intel Inside. without intel inside Mac is pretty useless. It is when they switced their processors to Intel Inside now Mac has been growing like crazy. Lets change the topic. Alienware (windows) VS Mac. Which d you think is cooler and performs better?
Remember when mac commercials used to attach intel to a snail and say that is how slow they were. I wonder if they remember those commercials or they throw out the people responsible for those.
I'm surprised about that, as you would think that it wouldn't be too difficult to configure the servers correctly. Were damages at the fault of Dell or were they due to incompetence of the purchasing company? Apple pays a lot more attention to design, Dell pays a lot more attention to practical use. I prefer the Dell method. That might actually be a good idea, making another topic as a spin-off from this, as this thread is supposed to be about OSX rather than Macs. Edit: Thread located at: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=5617529 Alienware, at least on the second criterion. Amusing how conveniently people forget things, isn't it?
well two separate occassions dell had misconfigured the servers as well as damaged the machines, one time it was the shipping company and the other time it was dell because the server itself was damaged not the packaging
You can't expect a factory pre-load to be configured to your exact specifications; nobody is psychic. In what country did you purchase the server?
Apple are just using the work of others then selling it as there own, so can't even code their own core OS! But that aside I do still like OSX(software) and would buy it just not the hardware, If I could install it on a PC without having to jump though lots of hoops. But instead you have to deal with their overpriced and anti-competitive hardware. Even though it would not take much to allow every OSX to run on windows. Would like to see what would happen if Microsoft said Vista could only be installed on a Microsoft built PC. Also nothing wrong with them using unix, linux or whatever they use but it would be nice to see them make their own OS. edited for logylaps(and dp users) hope it makes more sense.
You have got to be shitting me. You have terrible grammar and your statements dont make a lick of sense. Go out there and represent the pc user m8.
I think he just wanted them configured to his order specification and not anything special but they messed this up by misconfiguring them?
The point I was trying to make is that your statements are not well grounded. To base an os on *nix would mean greater compatibility with all other systems and perhaps the best security there is to offer. When apple based their os on *nix, they made one of the greatest decisions the company has made to date. Also, you cant tell the os is based on *nix unless you are an above average user who utilizes command line.
If it was Dell, then they should replace it as per the warranty. Hang on, a bit of a failure of logic going on here: Macs are anything but compatible.
One thing a lot of people will not admit is that even when you boot camp a mac some of the drivers go dead because the firmware is not supported. Even amc said this on their site.
I meant that anything from a pc will open on a mac but not vica versa. So the one who is having compatibility problems has to be windows. Have not run into this problem. Everything on boot camp runs as it should.
It's Apple's problem that it only runs on their hardware, not Microsoft's. It's not as if it can be fixed by anyone but Apple.
