Hello. I was wondering what I must do in order to build an opt-in list. I am a member of aweber where I prepare a 5-days course for my visitors. I also prepare a website with frontpage. Can you give me any advice how can I build a good list ? any suggestions ?
Umm.. Give them quality content Don't act dumb Keep up with them from time to time Don't over promote Don't under promote (u'll lose money) My 2 cents
I agree with this! Promote offline and online as much as you can! And if you are tired, keep promoting! You have to go the extra mile! You have to do what those wont do today, to get what they will never have tomorrow!
It's a very old thread !! Anyway, last week, I read an article that answers your question: How to build an opt-in list?
Bring traffic to your landing page or you can post a video on your training to Youtube. That will help to bring a lot of traffic to your side. Thanks
One of the best methods to building a large opt-in list, is to offer a an ezine or newsletter. There are several benefits to using this method. Having your own ezine will allow you to build trust with your subscribers. You will be able to promote your products, and opportunities for free, explaining the benefits of your products, or simply delivering information that will teach them about a particular subject they are interested in receiving. If nothing else, an ezine will simple get more traffic to your site.
Find someone who has been successful at doing this. You will find successful people here but also at the Warrior Forum. Model what they have done. Do not copy, of course. Modeling is different. Use their success as an example. And, truthfully, it's too much information to break it all down into a post on a message forum. There are good, honest people out there who know how to do this and they offer e-products and e-courses on how to do this. It's really worth the money to invest in proper training from someone who has had success in this field rather than trying to have the info handed to you on a platter for free in a message forum. Of course, you could roll up your sleeves and search for the info within this and similar forums as your education if you're determined to find the info for free. But there's nothing like a good, top-quality guru teaching you everything you need to know.
There is a great blog post from Chris Rempel that lays out the list-building process. Rant: A Simple Formula for Nearly-Instant Results That Doesn’t Cost $60,000… Good luck!
