Is there anyt place to buy .com for 5$? Or what would be the cheapest price?
Or are there cheap .orgs or .nets available somewhere? How do .net and .org make difference in search results etc. compared to.com?

I think name.com offer .com's for $5.99, Yahoo were offering them quite cheap as well. You can get .Net's at Dotster for $6.25 with Coupon Code "bargaincat.net"

Hmm.. I'll look at Name.com.. Are they good? Trustful?
    Do I need verified Paypal?

And, is it easy to get a domain bought from there resold?

Yep, they're a good company. For the past 2 months, been doing all my .com & .net purchases there. Don't think you need verified Paypal, not too sure about this.

If you want to do a bulk purchase, some registrars offer discount coupons where your average will end up around $5.

There are some coupons around internet for discounts in various domains registrants. But the reputation of the company is of major importance. I've heard horrible stories from reputable marketers!

I wouldn't ever use NetFirms. Tried them once, but it was a big headache to even register 1 domain with them! I consider them unreliable & crap, but that's just my opinion. You'd be better sticking with Name.com if you want cheap names. Or other reputable companies that charge a bit more like Moniker, Godaddy, Namecheap, Domain.com, MyDomain.com, Dotster

I have heard bad things about them as well... To each their own... I try to stay with well know companys. 2 dollars more is worth it for knowing that you have a trusted quality product...

From who's standpoint are the reputable? Not mine. They're about as bad as registerfly in the way the handled my domains. Had the wrong experation date in the account, support that couldn't answer my questions and they are overpriced. Only good thing is dotsters once ever 4 year happy hour $1 domains.

I agree, all good developed domain name registers usually have .com domains for $6.99 -$9.99. There are always coupons out there, also don't look for cheap registeres, look for good ones. ;)
