You just need high priced items in your market that have less value to increase the perceived value of your product. I'll help out:

Buy one of my signature spots for $1700 per week, adult sites $3600 per week. I only have <100 post!

If more people price their links like mine people would jump at your offers.

These things were pretty easy to sell about six months ago, now the situation is totally different.

i was speaking to a friend of myne the other day on the phone, he said in February/March of next year he's going to come on DP and just buy every sig link, avatar and recent blog post url possible, i know he said he planned spending a few thousand, he'll be promoting a new site he's been working on for over a year. it should make very big news nationally offline and online.

    so just a hint...

make sure your sig links are available for feb/march+ time since this guy will be smoking hot, he's a bit dodgey to be honest and he wont mind me saying this he has a varied reputation around the web and offline but when he says he's going to spend a few g here and there he will do, he sticks to his word when buying but he's allways out to make a quick buck when selling

just a heads up ~ chi

the market is saturated... there is an over-supply.

if you want to sell, you have to bring down the prices.. you don't have a choice.

    1) You spelled idiot wrong...

    2) Maybe it's a market that needs to be "spoiled." There are people registering for the sole purpose of getting to a few thousand posts just to sell signature links; if the market disappears, the quality of posts on DP will increase...

Many members join DP everyday and start posting and then sell signature for low price. So its better to promote ur sites now.

No I dont think it is a holiday season issue. I think that sig link sales here at Dp may be slowly drying up due to people in slight panic with Google's no link sales fpr PR. Many users profile here at DP eventually ends up with PR.

I really dont think that the market for sig links are over satuated. Trust me the more users you get to put your link in the sigs the better.

I also see that a lot of cheap sales is an issue. One could sale their sig link $1 for every 100 posts they have made. So for someone like me I "could" earn roughly $22 per link. But I see many who have 1k posts selling for around $5 or less. The bid always goes for the cheaper price vs the right price. Some call it outsourcing, some say cheap, some say saturated. Just people trying to get something for little or nothing for a lot of bang.

It would be nice if people would place more value on products instead of trying for a quick buck and or sale.

Exactly, mystikmedia bought a ton of signatures, I think 3 links because when I was a newbie I saw members with thousands of posts with the same 3 links.

The DP sig market has been pretty slow for the last couple months.

Just wait for someone posting a WTB thread, or sell them on other sites. :)
I've bought more sig links then sold mine on DP.
