Can anyone give me an idea how much traffic a site ranked 1 500 000 on alexa maybe be getting on a daily basis?
less than 100 uniques I guess? But if you work out the traffic, your alexa rank would decrease much faster... Good luck...
I think many people have touched on this before but don't get too hung up on Alexa rank. I'm just an amateur and it's taken me some time to realise that Alexa rank affects nothing. Alexa rank is gleaned using the Alexa toolbar. It's particularly favoured by tech oriented people, although I am open to correction if this is not the case. This means that it's not really representative of the general internet surfing population. Most surfers have never heard of Alexa. You can also manipulate your own Alexa rank by running the toolbar yourself and visiting your pages, which, in my mind, undermines it still further as a reliable indicator. I suppose what I'm saying is it's not really possible to gauge, with any accuracy, what levels of traffic are being seen by any particular website in relation to another, using Alexa rankings.
i think nobody can give you exact numbers for that because alexa will count hits from who use the alexa toolbar. dont care it
