Just a question for you: does police in your city intervene every time when there is bank robbery in progress or just in some cases?
OK im giving you some credit here because that is a valid point. Police intervene every time. The US does seem to pick and choose, but i think its based on countries that are a threat to others, not just themselves.
+ countries that can't really punch back. Id love to see US invading China or India or Russia or at least North Korea. Wont happen
Hmmm.. All populous areas.. Russia survived WWII by pure volume.. Some 28 million people died as a result. The US? less than 500k. Populations were the same, involvement similar, war entry pretty much around the same time. We have no reason to go invade any of the aforementioned countries at the moment.. Honestly, I would not give Russia that much credit ATM on the military front.. I'm pretty sure if someone had a reason, it might take time, but there would only be so much "punching back"...
of course you wouldnt, you would follow Napoleon, Hitler and all others. 28 million? Thats civilians, not troops. You better tell me how many Nazis died in battles with US. Wait, so you dont agree that you invade small countries?
Doubtful.. The landscape has changed, so has the foot print.. The USSR is not what it once was.. Thankfully most of the countries over there that were raped by Russia for years have gained their own independence. Anyway, there is nothing of value over there.. Not even the crude.. It's too dirty, very low grade, and difficult and expensive to refine.. The only reason it is popular now is because the market price has gone up overall making that useless gas actually affordable.... It is a beautiful country however, and rich in history in many ways... I just do not see any reason to attack a nation that neither threatens us, or has anything to be gained. No.. The Civilian to Military casualty ration was about 50/50. That's 10,700,000 Military 11,900,000 Civilian, and the rest were Jews.. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II_casualties I better huh? Or what? I answered this question in another thread.. Keep things straight.. Even gave you the source.. What is this, a competition to see who killed more Nazi's? How bout' we try this one next.. Lets see... who required 5 times the man power to kill Nazis.. Wait, can I answer this one? I do not recall the US ever invading anything.. What are you talking about?
end of rant, I wont be able to educate yourself in all those^ areas where you just showed a lack of knowledge. most of the countries that got independence will join Russia, not anyone else if there is a war, you dont know much do you? So why talk about a continent you dont know? Are you a Bush follower? Please dont confuse Austria with Australia this time
Translation: You were correct, I defer to your citing of facts, and historical data on the subject. Therefore I will no longer comment since I have no leg to stand on. Why thank you. Ah, I would probably start asking around first.. Ever call a Latvian a Russian? I saw a Romanian do it once.. It was not a pretty sight! What are you talking about now? What does Bush have to do with this? And where are you going with the Austrian/Australian references? For a minute I thought you had some substantive material and thoughts to add. I guess I was wrong.
The only countries who will not join Russia (just as they would not in ww2) are: Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. All these together are smaller than a single Kazahstan, not mentioning all other countries + there are many Russians live in them 3 countries. Try to learn more about post soviet countries, then we will continue our debates. Australia and Austria are the countries which Bush confused. I thought you know about it, it was shown on TV. Now whos got the most neutral media?

The question is too simple Mike. Left to their own devices the USA is no threat at all, trade and commerce are the main concerns. Other countries have more insidious agendas for global control. The USA just wants the $$$ But the $$$ lead the USA to believe they should interfere where they aren't wanted, or to go in rashly and create bigger problems. It's that that makes the USA so dangerous in volatile situations.
Money is a huge factor when it comes to political decisions, absolutely. Yes, America is based on free commerce and financial gain is something mandatory to keep your lifestyle, but I also believe in Americans being responsible. America has such a wide variety of people, someone will always be there to keep the other in line. Accountability. I do trust America´s decision making ability. I look at countries like Russia and Middle Eastern nations, and there you have no accountability. Following a doctrine calling on people to conquer the world in the name of their believe by the sward and believing in it doesn´t raise confidence. We are all out to make the best out of our lives and live well. Making money is a part of it. America seems money hungry to many, because Americans are marketers, I´m sure your television station is filled with ads by American companies all day long. Success and the drive to succeed doesn´t make someone who has inner peace and common sense dangerous. Yes, there are some people in the U.S. who might be dangerous if there was no accountability, but looking at the bigger spectrum, I do feel very safe with the U.S. being the power calling the shots in most cases.
