Taking the trademarked name and content from someone and repurposing that into a web site is STEALING, just as if someone came into your bedroom and took your stuff.

He says he doesn't want to throw it away "because of Fox," but they're the guys who created the content, hired animators, writers and hundreds of people who earn their living off of that property. Throw it away not because of Fox, but because it's the right thing to do.

My $.02.

 

It doesn't matter where you live, you might not get sued or even have your hosting frozen, but all FOX has to do is file a complaint under the DMCA and they can simply take possession of your domain name and then it's Game Over.

"Family Guy" is a trademark, theirs... using it in your domain, website content and so forth is grounds enough for them to file a complaint and for you to loose the domain. You don't have to get sued to get screwed.

Best stay away from copyright/trademark content.

Its what I am working on right now I have a few adsense ready/coded ones all nice and ready <_< With tutorials coming up on my blog on how to monetize/modify them. etc etc.
