I was thinking.. if its allowed or not.. on our website we have google ad's images/texts also. Now if i right click over the ad copylink and then make another website with normal text and hyper links but instead place in the google ad link i copied earlier?

Anybody thought of that? Allowed? Not allowed? works? dosent work?

Seems like there should be a way to click on ads without really clicking on ads.

Hmm maybe some software that cold replace the user id with another for testing reasons. That would probably gets the pubishers ID banned huh? Google should do something imo, like a firefox plugin that says yeah this is you I am just testing.

I think he is asking more about testing than clicking. There has been times (mainly because I look at my site the most) that I wondered what the hell some of those ads were all about, don't you hate it when your own site shows an ad you WANT to click on (not to be devious). Of course google couldn't charge for the click, so theres no upside for them. I wonder what would happen if you removed the publisher ID, would your ads still work?

LOL this happens to me atleast twice a day.. i get intreguied so what i do is to be safe i right click copy link and paste it into the browser.. i cut out all the other rubbish and leave the actuall which is embedded.

But a big but.. im sure its old news and many have discussed this before.. how would Google actually determine if it was you who clicked on your own ad.. (dont say IP or cookies).
