Hello, today I wanted to get some opinions of some of your guys. Alright, well i recently sold a WordPress Template to a customer here. Which can be viewed by clicking this link. Then he/she said they would like for it to be coded which I did, i coded it. (took a few more days then said, because of college) But it got done, but the day I finish the coding on the template he/she filed a dispute with me that he/she hasn't received the goods which he/she has. I sent them via e-mail. After I showed her the WP theme coded he/she remarks were "WOW THIS TEMPLATE IS USELESS TO ME" , now he/she wants a refund. In which I think he/she just doesn't want it anymore, and is trying to get out of it. So I don't really want to refund the money, but how am I to prove 100% to paypal that he/she has the goods? I have the sent email, and everything. Also just so everyone knows the transaction will be filed under "goods". So what should I do?

    PS:

if they liked the design and purchased it then there is no problem there, they should pay for the design, if theyre not happy with your coding method then that maybe the dispute but either way you should atleast come away with the money for the design

If you have already been paid then Paypal won't do a thing about it ... It's a non tangible sale and paypal won't get involved.

It's a real problem with Paypal but in your case their policy has worked for you.

I would suck it up and issue a refund if she does not use it. Did you promise a completion date that was not met?

Do not issue the refund, the client probably is trying to get the template for free. Have seen it before.

If you already showed a sample of the template and he/she bought it after seeing it, then tough luck if they don't want it later. Their just screwing with you.

It's not your fault, they placed an order with you and you spent time to complete, they must pay up.
