You forum will flop and will never ever be the largest anything. At least that is my prediction until you can come up with a theme you have a passion about, and I'm not just talking your passion to make a quick buck...well, unless that is what your forum will be for. Seriously! How can you expect us to give you help in your forum if we don't know what the forum is? How can you expect us to help with the domain, if we don't know what the forum is about? If you truly want our help, then you must first find your passion, and until you can do that, don't expect a lot of us to follow. Q

Well, I don't want to talk about "large" and I'm sure a lot of people here don't want to talk about it either. It's obvious your passion is your wallet, and it's clear that is NOT what your forum is about. Sadly you'll not get far with that as your mindset. If you are not willing to go on about your own passions, then at least find a focus. Starting a forum with 1000 boards on it is NOT going to generate content by itself, and when you start off with a bunch of empty boards you'll find that they will remain empty. I'd say best of luck, but well wishing I really don't think will help...

No, but I did think about giving you some. I opted not to because I didn't think this idea was worth the effort or the -1 rep I'd get myself. Then your theme is not "large" though it is likely too big. General forums generally do not go over very well. Pick a niche, build it. Save your money, buy a related niche forum that's already built. Merge forums & repeat Either way, keep in mind that most general forums flop. Start small and build...if you overwhelm your members with a bunch of empty boards, they likely will not return.
You mean to say that we cannot reach to that mark with 1,000 new users getting registered everyday and with 1000's of boards. Gaia has 1,227,100,951 articles posted with 10,612,138 registered users Is not a really big task if worked well on.
You do realise that there are over a million posts there a week right? Also, they prune (ie, delete) older threads/posts so the count you posted below is not correct. You would be better off starting a forum in a niche and saying it is the biggest in the world - If you target something like Soccer for eg, I can see that getting a lot of traffic/members/posts if the forum is setup well.
