Is is just me or does it seem that for this month signature spots, avatars & recent blog spots are impossible to sell? Anyone else experiencing this? Do you think it's due to the holiday seasons or what?

Yes its hard to sell them unless you sell them for only a few dollars, I bought someones who had over 2,000 posts for $8/6 months, a few months ago it would have cost me $100.

I don't think so. $35 for nearly 6,000 post is already cheap.

Are you serious! What an idoit. It's people like this that spoils the market for everyone.

Yes I'm serious and someone else was desperate for money and they had over 1,000 posts so I gave them $10 for a signature link for a year.

That's what I've been doing lately.

And I agree. When peopel sell so cheap, no one is going to pay normal prices if they know people are selling them for so cheap.

I tried to sell mine for $10/month today and no one interested. I used to get $10 .. 500 posts ago, and they won't pay it for 1700.

It's harder and harder to sell signature links these days. Plus a lot of people are selling them cheaply that it is driving down the price.

It is not just post count. Another big factor is reputation (not that green little box, but if you are helpful/trusted).

i saw someone with 1000 post sell his sig for 25, i believe that because his is famous in the directory section and people pay more attention to his post

or if you have a pretty face like Buffalo, you can sell it at better price too:D

I've given up trying to sell my signature spot. I'd much rather use all spots for my own sites than sell for a few $$.

Market is too saturated. Before it would sell for $10/month per 1,000 posts, but now its about $4-$5/month per 1,000 posts. Too much link selling at the moment.

Yea its just like real world, competition has driven prices way down so that only the dirt cheap ones sell. Also, I think the fact that a lot of people getting banned could play a part in it because no one wants to invest in someone who will get banned (that shouldn't be a problem for those of you with 5000+ posts though). Unless we get a bunch of people looking to buy sigs, I don't see them for selling more than peanuts any time soon.

The market is really slow nowadays, but you still HAVE the possibily to sell the sig...In other forums you don't have that. ;)

I found it hard to sell mine. Hopefully all 4 will renew. I run a tight niche within my posting. I guess im just the ultimate sig seller:D

2000-4000 posts was the easiest time to sell sig links. They are good value at that time, not too expensive. I'd quite like to have 30k posts, but nobody would be willing to pay my $300 a month fees:D
