New guy, studying SEO since 1997

Hello all! I am very excited to become a member of this forum. It seems like a valuable resource for anything and everything with regards to webdev, web design, SEO and Internet marketing. I have a vast amount of SEO experience. I begun studying SEO in 1997 by making website off of my free space on AOL and optimizing for Yahoo. I did this to make money from clicktrade and commission junction affiliate ad programs. Today I run a successful web design and SEO firm, Slingshot SEO, Inc.

I have ranked websites on the first page of Google for terms such as the following...

buell
buell motorcycles
buell parts

copper sinks
copper range hoods
copper countertops
custom copper fabrication

flower pots
plant containers
indoor planters
plant pots
new pro
newpro

george bellows

obgyn instruments
obgyn supplies

All of the websites I have ranked for these terms remain on the first page of Google. I have also ranked the same websites for many more terms, for example the Buell website ranks for over 17,000 long tail phrases. Many other websites I'm working on are still on the second page of Google for extremely competitive terms, but will soon be on page 1. I have also ranked many websites for local terms including the state or city.

Yes this is my first time. I typically visit websites such as seomoz.org and ecommerceoptimization.com. Most of our SEO theory comes from in-house brainstorming, theories and testing. We have some proprietary tools created by our developers that use scrapers, Google Analytics, statistics and regression analysis to reverse-engineer Google, Yahoo and MSN.

Our new Off-page SEO expert, Jordan, is a frequent member of this forum and has recently gotten me interested in joining the community.
