It is a shame! BUSH opened up a can of worms with Iraq and he does not know how to end the violence, and we all know the consequences now. Pictures like this of INNOCENT kids and civilians being blown to pieces are unacceptable and apaulling!

I rather that Saddam remains, at least we will not see the chaos as it is now with bombing news becoming so common I no longer bother reading them. I do not think Iran will be a push over. In Iraq Bush has only demoralized troops to deal with, Iran Revolutionary Guards are a totally different category. Hope he won't venture to attack Iran, for the world's sake!

He will have to face a war here at home before he goes and fights one in Iran. Bush is a lame duck president at this point, all the rats around him have and are jumping ship. He is irrelevant!

I hope that's true and he wins the election but somehow I cannot believe that the newcomer will be different, but as I said I hope.

I think voting for someone like Ron Paul is a good thing, but I don't think it will really affect the direction the US is taking - I hope it does though.

US is acting this way as there is no accountability.

    >somebody should do something to prevent it
We should all speak up and educate people around the world.
email friends; write blogs; participate in forums... are few ways to make awareness online.

This goes back beyond Bush. It's about decades of interference in the internal affairs of Iraq.

Jeremy Scahill recently referred to the 90s Food for Oil program as genocide.

    Great video on this,
