I assume if a visitor visit an advertiser site from my link once and then visit the advertiser site directory within action referreal period and make a purchase ONLY in the 2nd visit, I still get paid, right?

How the first visit is tracked? Is it cookie or IP address? Does this work if visitor has disabled cookie?

visits are tracked by cookie so if cookies are disabled then no commission.

you will receive commission if visitor returns to site with your cookie within the referral period.

you will get paid if yours is the last cookie on the visitors pc eg if he visits your site and then someone else's affiliate link their cookie will overwrite your cookie. the last cookie placed wins!

You will be paid on repeat purchases if the cookie is not removed or expired. Most live for 45 days. The advertiser sets the limit.
