Hi Everyone. I'd like to offer a $25 prize to the best logo for a new site I have planned. The site will be about reef aquariums. I would like the logo to contain the words: "Coral Cube" The graphical portion of it might be a marine fish, a piece of coral, or perhaps an aquarium. The website will be dark so the logo will need to look good against a deep blue or black background. I would prefer the file in vecctor format but a PSD is also acceptable. The contest will end on Sunday night and I will choose a winner on the morning of Monday December 17th. Please let me know if I can clarify anything above. Goood luck to all that choose to enter.
CelaCG , I like how this looks against the black background and how you made the frame of the cube letters. Not wild about the font but that's of little concern as it's easily changed later. I'm not sure I understand whether that is a splash of water or a fish coming out from the top though. Any chance you could try to make that portion look more like a fish? or perhaps even just a pair of eyes peering out from the top or side? cpufreak3, I'm not sure that's the direction that interests me. I'm going to bet that the dark blue and grey are too deep when placed on a dark background such as black. Thanks for giving it a shot. TheChosenOne, I can't pinpoint what it is but I'm just not drawn towards this one. Sorry I can't be very specific. designfxpro, I like this and appreciate that you did some variations to show how it might look on both a light and dark background. Not sure I love that style of fish and I wonder if you could remove the outer stroke from the text so I could see how that might look. Thanks for the entries so far everyone. As I mentioned in the first post this will run through Sunday and a winner will be chosen on Monday morning EST.
scorpionagency, Thanks for the entry but this I'm finding the colors and style to be a little too busy. ru7mka, your decision to make the letter O a piece of coral is interesting. ])CoDeN([, thanks for your entry as well. I do not prefer the letters in circles or the fuzzy stle of the box though.
