What helps me stop being lazy is setting goals then actually rewarding myself when I get them completed. I work a lot during the week, so a lot of my weekend time is spent cleaning, running errands, and doing laundry. So, in order to get things done AND still be able to do things that I enjoy I will set goals. For instance, I will say that I need to go to the bank, mop the floors, get groceries, etc. on Saturday and set a timeframe in my head for when I want it done by, say 6pm. When 6pm comes around and I didn't get to mopping the floors, but I got my errands done and most of the house clean, I will stop then and play some video games (that's what I usually choose as my reward). This helps me keep a balance. I still get a lot of things done, but if I didn't give myself a stopping point, I'd probably be working on housework all day and do nothing enjoyable with my time off.....

Set your daily priorities and stick to them. anything that comes our way out of the ordinary tend to it quickly and get back into your routine. Slowly adding tasks to your daily routine could be a way to motivate yourself out of the "lazies".

I keep a today.txt file on me desktop.

The first thing i do when I switch on the PC in the morning is think about the things I want to be done today and edit today.txt.

Many times, we just feel generally lazy but the truth is, we do so because we have no clear goals, no solid plan and no view of any outcome so the best thing to do is set goals that are high but you can reach them. Make a to-do list..Get exercise and be organized..

Set a plan of what you want to do, then do it. Thats what I find helps. Also disconnecting from the internet helps if you don't need it for something :p lol

If you cannot be active, you can always read some book to upgrade your knowledge

I get this way also. I have things that i want to do, I start to do them, then i end up on the web looking at stuff for a few hours. Then I get mad that i did not get done what i needed to do.

Go outside, run between a few cars driving along the road. That should get your heart rate going and make you either:

    A) Dead
    or
    B) Motivated to find something less dangerous, but more productive

    Enjoy being lazy...

I sit around 24/7 doing nothing - while I watch out my window people franticly running around going to work/school..Just so they can get their paycheck and survive long enough to work another week..LOL, what a sad cycle people have fallen into..

To much stress is bad for you..;)

Drink energy drinks or motivate yourself by setting goals about buying that expensive car so you'll strive to earn money.
