I would like to know if anybody here's using Squidoo for SEO and are there any website thats similar with Squidoo but better?
It has worked well for me over the long haul. Its not a get rich quick solution but if you have specialized niches to promote, it might be a good tool for you. It helps is you can write content on a subject you enjoy rather than strictly as a means of income.
Yes, many are using Squidoo...There is plenty of Social Media sites like this... Example are multiply.com and myspace.com...
Jon Leger has a recent blog post on a case study he did on Squidoo. Read it! It will help you decide. It help me!
I am using Squidoo way back then.. I stopped because it doesn't help me a lot when it comes to SEO..IMO
Squidoo is very good. It has a high page rank. Myspace does not have externally viewable and indexable pages unlike Squidoo which is indexed readily by Google. There is another one called Where's The Fire run by Technorati at http://technorati.com/wtf that is also worth spending time writing a decent article with good content.
I have a couple Squiddoo pages. One of which actually has a PR2, which I didn't expect. It then backlinks to a related site of mine. I haven't seen any traffic from it though.
We have been using Squidoo successfully by posting articles (apprx 800 words) that we write. Squidoo is part of our content distribution process. It has a good page rank, gets indexed quickly, and aids in the link popularity process. The trick is to create multiple lenses - one for each article. Hope this helps.
I regularly add backlinks to my Squidoo's lens in order to shoot up to top spot at Google for particular keyword.
i have few lenses on squidoo.. my first lense was about handbags and i worked for 2 weeks on it and now it is ranked for major keywords.. i recieve daily 30 visits just from google and 50 from Y and MSN... lense is just 3 weeks old.. Squidoo's own internal links also works very well for serps
I pulled in a little under $600 last month from Squidoo. The Blog in my Sig link has the full report. Squidoo can make you some serious bucks if you do it right, it does take time though. In addition, I've now got a giant group of PR 3-5 pages I can use to send link juice to whatever my new project is.
Squidoo works very well. Hubpages is another site I'd recommend. Better? In my opinion no. Overall they are equal. And are great additions to your online arsenal.
I made a lense, I probably am not working it right but it hasnt doen much for me. I've pretty much hit all social bookmarking sites which are good for backlinks and traffic here and there with some huge numbers coming in every so often.
