Lol, I still see Adsense everywhere They even upgraded their appearance, with that scroll up and down thing.
Some sites have got their own ad system set up. But adsense is still the most popular form of website monetization.
Actually, it Adsense is a better option for smaller sites. Bigger sites can have their own marketing team and find advertisers easily. It is the smaller sites which benefit more from the ad system that Google has created.
Yup, I agree. I see many big sites moving away from AdSense and dealing directly with advertisers. As long as the site is big enough to reach advertisers I see no reason for using AdSense.
I think more and more smaller sites are moving away to other networks that have a lower payout. I use AdSense and at the current rate on a few of my sites it'll take two years to reach that $100 mark that's a long wait to make a quick buck... A few of the smaller networks have smaller payouts, and the affiliate links seen to be a bit more popular then they once were, but even with those points, I think that AdSense is still far from dead, and once many of the smaller sites grow, they will likely at least check out the larger networks. Q
Did I say there was? Though, good is a relative term. What you see as good others may see as not good enough. Of course the same applies in reverse. In the case of networks with a lowert payout, that is good for many people, and much better then the $100 that Google offers. For those that it would take months to get $100 tell me how that is better then getting $10 a month (in the short term). Look around these forums, it seems that for many it's all about the money, and it's not about how much, but how fast. So in many cases Adsense is NOT a network for a quick buck.
