    Hello All,

We have registered our 60 domains with Indian address..basically our target market is USA..is there any difference will be there in search result of keywords??

i.e., Search engines will give any weight-age in providing the positions which are registered with US address targeting with that Market..because if we search for the keywords with www.Google.co.in sites are coming in top for all keywords...

where as if we place US IP then sites are coming in more than 10th positions??

    please let me know??

    Thanking you,
    James Peterson

Dot Com would be a much better bet. Otherwise you'll rank high in Indian searches and not in Global or US ones.

Where the name is registered doesn't matter, but where it is hosted will matter.

My main site is a .au tdl that gets equal US/AU traffic. I have not selected a geo region in sitemaster tools but you should. I am hosted in the US. US links are going to help you. Where you register the name won't matter, where it is hosted is debated but I'd say it does not matter as much as people sometimes believe.

No it doesn't matter where domains are registered or with which tld you have registered or where you have hosted your site for global SERP rankings (i.e. when the user doesn't specifically selects to search within country pages), though you might be able to get a bit of preference when a user searches for local pages based on your site hosting location and/or tld. Sometimes there are SERP inconsistencies within various google datacenter but that is just due to delay of update.

It doesn't matter dude... You should optimize it in your target country... Post on several directories that are targeting in your desired country...
