Social bookmarking strategies?

I am having trouble figuring out how to best use sites like digg, and del.ish.ious(or whatever). I want to optimize my homepage but these sites are looking for news articles and these articles do not show up on my home page so the link I add is going elsewhere. Is there a way that I can get a number of these links pointing to my homepage rather than my blog and article page, etc...?

 

yes U can easily post the link of your homepage in the digg and other bookmarking sites but remember it should be very intresting otherwise U will get the link but no one will digg it.........

 

I think social bookmarking is a good strategy for deep linking. If you want to focus on optimizing your homepage, submit to quality directories instead..()

 

go ahead and link to the page that is most relevant......not all your visitors are going to be coming to your homepage...the search engine is going to bring them to the page that is the most relevant to their search....

Several social bookmarking sites use "nofollow". This way prevents search engines to be index urls which putted the "nofollow". So if you want to use social bookmarking for only SEO, you must avoid the "nofollow".
