The people that made alot of money very quickly complained that Widgetbucks closed their accounts, but at the same time I don't know if these people cheated or not. The regular folks have been paid though.
I'll wait to hear what kind of CPM rates they are paying on international traffic before I get excited.
Well I just got this email as well, and though I will have a look in my widgetbucks account to see what its all about. Well guess what - my account has been suspended again !!!! WTF ??? At least I got my last payment from them, but what have I done now to be suspended again ?? I haven't used any non-english language sites. Its all getting a bit silly with these knobheads - if I AM suspended, why would they send me an email with their latest news ??? Alex

I get no ads on my site with the CPM and my country is Mexico, if I run my site with my proxy I can see the widgetbucks banner

LOL they aren't scammers, their program just doesn't seem to convert thats all. They make outlandish claims on clickthrough but you will not see anything close to it. Their referral for their own program seems rich enough though. Also they did pay out this month (first payout since startup).

I am still assuming the program is legit, it's working very well for some people. For me the number of clicks absolutely hit the floor though when they started blocking international clicks. It was doing fine when I put it on a fairly low traffic blog (English language), a similar CTR to Adsense, but now the CTR has dropped to practically zero! Either people got bored of the widget, or there is something a little fishy about the tracking. I hardly think ALL my traffic was international!
