Is anyone experiencing duplicate orders on the transaction page today? I am an affiliate for a product I sell all the time. Today, two customers ordered this product, an e-book, twice! I can understand one customer accidentally buying twice, but not two of them in a row. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen or just me? I have emailed Clickbank support to check on this to see if their system is out of whack, but I have not yet heard back from them. If they really are duplicates, I liked to see them removed now instead of next month sometime. Of course, I hope they are legit and I get the full commissions!
It happens to me sometimes as well. I just assume they accidentally purchased twice. Most of the times, i see a refund for one in a few days. Sometimes i see none. Guess some buyers didn't even realize they brought twice or don't bother asking for a refund.
I appreciate the reassurance. Having two such duplicate sales, right in a row, on an item I have been making sales on for about two years surprised me. I thought there might be some systemic problem at Clickbank. But as this has happened to others from time to time, my concern has vanished. I'll just wait and see if I collect the commission or the duplicates are removed. Thanks!
You know, I've seen this many times and I'd have to say that more times than not you may get lucky and keep the duplicate for whatever reason...
Dropship - I couldn't agree more! In the past 30 days, I've had five or six pairs of duplicate orders, and none have been returned! My theory is that consumers who lack the savvy not to click "Pay Now" twice also often lack the savvy to know their rights regarding return-policies.
That is funny! A quick update - I received a reply from support at Clickbank which stated that there was nothing wrong either with the publisher's website nor with their system. (This was my first contact with the Clickbank support and their response was timely.) So, the buyers had either by design or by accident bought two.
