I think its allowed as it uses borders and seperates the images from ads..... but I dont think that it will increase ur CTR.... as its irrelevent....... and also because of animation.......
Ok, i have played this online game for over 2 years and knows alot about it. Im sorry to say, the clips are relevant. and so are the adverts. They are ingame video recordings. and i have fixed the color of the other large rectangles at the bottom of the homepage. what do you think i should do about the leaderboards on the other pages? should i change the colour to match the same as the one i have edited on the homepage? because there are alot of thumbnails that will be closeby to them.
I think the front page looks great this way and avoids breaking the TOS. You should still make the background color lighter on the other page. The ads are close to the images. It is better to be safe than banned. Then you could ask Adsense if it is ok. Work on drawing more traffic and if your CTR is low then think about changing the layout. Hopefully somebody else will give you there opinion because the more the better.

I think it looks great and very professional this way. Thats my opinion and somebody else might differ. I would consider it all in the TOS now. I was reading the page and think you should change the text below the tittle on the second page. I would say "Videos are updated daily. (or whenever) Bookmark this page". There are scripts that will allow somebody to click the bookmark and it would bring it up. Another idea is a description of the video there.
It's fine, but if your worried, email Google. They will not penalize you when you are asking them if it's alright they will just say yes or no (and likely check later if the answer was no) What they are looking for are deceptive pictures. ie. your adsence is normally about computer monitors so you put an expensive monitor next to the ad so people click on the ad thinking they are getting a great deal.
What I mean was that.... when i checked the site.... those images captured my attention but not the ads.... there are implementations that captures our attentioon to ads using the images...... Its just my personal view....
this game isnt any old regular game. it has a huge illegal business involving selling the currency of the game. they are the adverts that pay well. so in a sence. i want runescape gold ads
I think it IS against ToS. The best thing you could do is to contact AdSense support and kindly ask them to review your site.
Ok when i get home from school i'll email adsense and we can see what they say. Any more opinions are greatly appreciated!
