I had over 10,000 pages indexed now only 10

does anyone know why this would happen.....over the passed few months ive had a consistent amout of pages indexed in google around 10,000, i usually monitor this every few days, i just checked and i only have 10 pages indexed for www.k9stud.com which has a PR 5 too! this is a big surprise, anyone know what is going on?

i think you are referring to the links, i was referring to the number of pages indexed, google does show 894 incoming links but only 10 pages indexed....which is weird....

 

I got 0 indexed for www.k9stud.com

No I have just seen that 284 pages are indexed when I have seen in google with this command

Try to have query again for your backlinks. Maybe it's just a fresh update.

 

I am using a seo plugin for FF and google.com is showing NO pages indexed for www.k9stud.com

Based on Googles behavior in the past i would say its a temporary problem, however if you have been doing any artificial link building you may have just been slapped by Google., Lets hope not...

 

I had over 400k indexed up until ~3 days ago.

Goggle does this from time to time and reindexes from scratch. Over the last few days my traffic is only down 20% but adsense revenue is down almost 40%. At least most of my traffic is direct or from backlinks.

I have a useful tool for FF called Search Status ... and it showed me 894 links to homepage but no indexed pages at all!!! that is really weird... how long it has been so? Taking into consideration that PR is 5 and alexa rank is really good... something wrong happened... Have you done something that Google doesn't like?)))

 

Of the 7-8 other webmasters I talk to daily, two others are having the same issue. All PR5+ with sites that are 8+ years old. LIke I said. It happens from time to time.

also try searching for pages using text from your pages to verify that your pages are still showing-up in search results.

 

When I had this happen to me Google ..was... purging my pages do to a linking issue. Check to make sure you are not in any violation as it probably is to late if they are removing your pages.

Again this is from the outside looking in but my guess is something has disrupted goggles trust for those pages.

yeah somethng is up wiht google these days...

my website is indexed completely... yesterday i got 350 uniques and today it doesnt show up my pages in results so i just got 4 today...

 

it is really weird, i have not done anything that i know of that will disturb google, just did my monthly link building which i have been doing over the past two years....im kind of optimismitic now that i read a few other posts, about google doing this from time to time, i hope that is the case

 

Check you link partners maybe one of them was penalized.

Again .. dropping pages is not normal. Regardless of what other say you have a valid concern.

 

I'd like to think you do not get penalized for anything a link partner does. If so DP better get busy removing a lot of signatures.

 

Not the case.. link to a bad site and watch what happens. LOL
