Let's say I have a domain at registrar A. Another person who is also a member at the same registrar wants to buy my domain. Do I have to follow the same procedure for normal domain transfer or is there any way I can transfer the ownership of the domain to the other person?
It's easy. Ask the buyer to register an account with registrar A. After that PUSH the domain to your buyer account.
Different registrar have the different way. Could u please tell us which registrar you are registered domain with them?
The process, typically referred to as the "push" is also called "Account Change" by Godaddy and its resellers. If you are with Godaddy (or its resellers), these are the steps to take: - Log in and click on My Domains - Check (do not click) the domain you want to push - Click on Account Change right above your domain list and fill in the information about the new owner (he/she must have an existing account within the same registrar of course) The process is free and unlike a "domain transfer" to a different registrar, it does not require additional fees. Good luck!
I'm with a registrar (n4me.eu) that uses myorderbox.com kind of an interface, and I couldn't find any such link to Change Owner or Account Change.
u might wanna follow this link to get more instructions on the pushing of the domain to another account .. manage.directi.com/kb/servlet/KBServlet/faq450.html
Some company may charge for it.... but if you have the domain from myorderbox.com kind of system which is rub by resellerclub.com, then you can move domain to the new account. They dont charge anything for moving the domain from one customer to another customer http://manage.resellerclub.com/kb/servlet/KBServlet/faq450.html Hope that helps Thanx Ani
