Click Fraud

Does G have the ability to determine click fraud? Is there an illicit industry of click frauders? It seems weird that I have over 200 clicks at close to $800.00 and no sales, and no new customers. I am selling some of the most popular products and yet...nothing. I wonder if any of you guys could take a look at my site and give me some ideas. I have gotten some sales but they were from existing customers on products that I don't list on google.
    The site is www.bestofhealthamerica.com
Any info would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks

Well you need to keep close track of where the clicks are coming from, repeat visits and things of that nature. At $4 a click are you getting near top of the sponsored links? Are your keywords relevant? Are you advertising just with Google or on the "network"?

it depends on where you clicks came from if it is from the content network
google might be able to do something but if it is search it means your competitors do not like you

I would be keeping a very close eye on it. Especially if your on the content network. Are you able to check if they are coming from the same website?

There are definately fraudsters out there.

I Understand your frustration... but it COULD happen!
I mean, yes you may have over 200 clicks with no "wanted respon$e" :)

There are so many factors to consider...
Website design, how targeted are your visitors are
(even with a PPC, you COULD get visitors who aren't interested enough, due to the
keywords that they've used), what are your keywords...etc..

Try tweaking each of these factors and monitor the results?
Also it will be a good idea to turn off content traffic (and stick to search results).

What's to stop some nasty person from repeatedly clicking on your link just to raise your costs while you see no profit at all and forcing you out of the game?

    Google's click fraud detection.

Anyway, are you bidding on broad, or specific keywords? With $4 CPCs, it sounds like there are probably a lot of other advertisers on the terms, so you may just have an inferior product.

You're selling what looks like either complete crap or snake oil (to my untrained eye) for very high prices, without much information. Your site looks scammy. Does anything else need to be said about why you're not getting sales?

You can also check your web logs for referrals from Adwords and check to see what they did or didn't do on your site. If you're showing a super high bounce rate, maybe your landing page needs work, or maybe it's click fraud.

I think there is a lot of fraud happening in this industry but is there any way to detect it. Is there any script that I can include on my page which could tell me where all the clicks are coming. I have seen similar things happen. Clicks and clicks and nothing happens.

btw, do you keep these products in stock or do you sell them as an affiliate ? maybe you can try increasing your number of products on the site.?
