Here we can post a list of scammers so that members can be MOre Careful.
Well i have 3 ppl to start with.


1. indian.webmasterdp scammed 68$ 2 days back.
the yahoo id was indian.webmasterdp.

2. id : egoldxchange# is also a scammer!! # = some number (in my case it was egoldxchange7 ) - I told him that i ll send money only if ur paypal is verified then he just went offline

3. Mira (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=104399)
is 1000% scammer...just scammed me of 48$
He comes with a yahoo id : arkansasladylover (david jacobs)
and also PMd me all the details.


So Guyz just post the names of ppl who scammed u here!!

i think some1 with more itrader should make this list...

and there shouldnt be a real list because you can list every1..

if you get scammed and you followed the DP ways you can leave itrader negative...

should be cool

This idea is not too great. Due to this all will start fighting with each other. All will start blaming each other. We want peace at DP.

VietXKosuke is a 101% scammer....He scammed my $130 and he scammed Fri_2_freez 's $32 ..... I'm going to post the details in 2 days in the General Chat section. Never trust this guy.

There is a huge scammer lurking around these parts but everytime I (subtlely) mention him he pisses his pants and runs off to complain to the moderators like a little baby.
And they always take his side, so it's not a good idea to make a thread like this!

 

well, just naming the scammers wont work...you`ve gotta back`em up with some solid proof too !!

 

I say you are open to scammers when you participate in nothing but VCCs and money exchanges. You need to check out who you are dealing with. The biggest scams on DP are money exchanges and by looking at your posts, that is mostly what you do.

*Once again thinking DP should ban money exchanges*

 

yup, totally agree, otherwise it becomes trial by media.... I would only recommend trusting people with good itraders already, but that does make it harder for noobies to get started.

One good tip is to go through a users previous posts and see if they seem genuine, but that is certainly no foolproof methodology for scammer detection.

 

this is a big problem. people get away with a lot of these scams because there is to much protection here. people are affraid to leave negative itrader in fear of getting one in return for just trying to let others know of there experiance.
I love DP but you gotta watch out here. I have been ripped off many times. Watch out for writers, I had some , well a lot of articles written and half of them were copied. not even rewritten just copied word for word.

 

You've nailed it there.
Scammers, just like the criminals they are, tend to know their rights when it suits them so the first whiff of criticism and they run off to the moderators crying harrassment. They aren't so virtuous when it comes to providing shoddy merchandise or whatever it may be. Pretty pathetic really.

 

Go to General chat section,u will find many scammers name.

 

Lots of my friends on DP have been scammed and I am not sure if there is a way not to get scamed but you should be carefully

Watch out ! this idiot scammed me off with 150$ paypal then said this:

AND HE IS NOW AGAIN TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE!

I got msg from master4uni too. I refuse to send first because he is having no itrader

 

i got scammed for about EU600 doing translation work this summer which i never got paid for.
It was very hard work on my end where i spent days at home translating.
The user was SIZZZ here from the forum.
