Ya I know some people think I am Joking. See this article and you will believe. http://www.geekywood.com/2007/12/google-is-cheating-me-and-so-it-does-to.html
I dont know what to say but first understand that stupid mybloglog is not a tracking tool. I have been telling everyone who keep whining about clicks. Mybloglog counts mouseover clicks. Why can't you trust google but expect them to pay you?
This really hard to know google whether cheater us or not but i am believe google is honest than other PPC program
Do not open this kind of threads which is not required please. Based on some one's experience you can not conclude what you are trying to convey to all Dp memebrs. Regards Nandan
His site is literally littered with Adsense, if he thinks Google is cheating, fine, remove them and get something else.
I agree, but we are talking about Advertising here for eg Adsense, Adbrite, Widgetbuck, not talking about search engines and their results.
They do not have to cheat, come on, look at their balance sheet, their cash hoard, their share prices. Do they want to cheat for peanuts? What they are trying to do is to maintain their service quality through ensuring their advertisers get value for money for their adwords.
When you cheat for peanuts on a mass scale you end up with massive amounts of nuts... While I do not think Google is cheating, I have no doubt that other programs are and do cheat all the time. I ran another network along with AdSense and found that the numbers didn't match. Though, in nearly all cases AdSense was the one I could count on for being the most accurate (though sometimes strangely slow).
1. Stats vary due to the fact that someone who visits a site may close the window as the site loads or the site fails to load. This will often result in the impressions of an ad being different than the number of users or other comparative data... People really should get some education as to how the online world works before making posts of no merit.
Well even though mybloglog isn't the most accurate tracking program I'm not sure that there wasn't something screwy with his tracking for Adsense, if it was not fabricated. As for the idea that the guy would ditch adsense because he was being cheated I don't think that holds water. Think about a few months ago, chances are you were making less in Adsense, if you made less again its doubtful that you would find another program that would rival even a smaller paying Adsense. I personally am a trust yet verify person, so I take everything with a grain of salt. If Google were cheating me would I know? Would I care? They still pay the most.
