Will this help my SERPs?

I have started a blogspot blog that I wan't to use to improve my 3 arcades SERPs. I am using my main keyword in the blogspot subdomain. I am planning on adding a link to a game located on one of my 3 sites every day using a long keyword enriched description before the link.

I think it is also a good idea to occasionally link to games on sites that aren't mine so it doesn't look like I am doing what I am doing.

Would this work or can the SE's find out somehow?

 

iam doubtful if this can help as you are using a site... to make serp of your other 3sites... as the serp of the blogspot page will improve... but i dont think this will improve your 3sites...

i also like to have another view on this...

I actually think this could have a positive effect, however before hand you should work on building links to your blogspot blog, to build up it's pagerank before hand. Instead of one blog, why not have 3 of them hosted on different services (there is plenty to go around).

Do some directory submissions for each blog and a bit of article marketing, you should gain a page rank of 2 or 3 pretty easily from it.

Once you have that, start your idea

I think it will definitely help your rankings.

How much will depend on how much you can build the link popularity and the quality of the blogger blog like rvdukc mentioned.

At the end of the day it's a topically relevant (if you do everything right) decently good content blog that links back to your site - you're hardly going to get penalized.

That is what this whole idea is about. building relevant backlinks.

 

blogs are useful if you really take care of them. Lots of fresh content, submit to search engines and directories, blog tracking sites, etc. Cover the bases, then focus on content content content. That is how you gain rank and traffic.

 

The best it will do is get you a link to your website, not that valuable though.

Why to waste time and money in promoting blog then getting link from it. Better get more links to your sites in that money and time.

 

I have started 2 blogs now. I am posting every day and on both and am working on getting several 3 way link exchanges.

What work? What money? It takes less than 10 minutes a day to do a post on each. I won't be promoting the blogs. Just spending another 10 minutes a day doing 3 way exchanges and submitting to free blog directories. The 3 arcades I am doing this for will get like 10-15 deep links per month. I think that is well worth 20 minutes a day.
