Help a newbie here....

I'm new to this forum and even to Internet. I beleive it is easy to make money online (my friend told me and suggested this forum). I can write articles in various subjects. I found there is a tight competition here at this forum for article writing services. Since I'm new here and don't have positive reviews I don't think it is possible to get projects for me. Is there any other place like this forum to get some projects for article writing? Where can I find oppurtunities for me? Any suggestions?

Just open a topic, charge like 0.005 per word. Maybe then you will get some customers :)

DON'T sell yourself that cheap! You can easily get a lot of work fro $0.01/word. $0.02/word even. Don't waste your time writing for peanuts, spend it actually finding quality paying jobs. I charge $0.03/word.

Couldn't have said it better myself!
Only thing is, I haven't found it that easy to get well paid work, just the occassional task here and there...

as a buyer perspective , i will not consider the cost of each word.. rather, i look into the quality of work produced..

I am an occasional article buyer and after reading your first post there is no way I would even contact you to write articles for me.

The lack of understanding of the English language you have presented is more than enough for me to look elsewhere. As a writer you have already demonstrated to me - a potential customer that your native language is not English and certainly of a lesser quality than I could produce myself.

What I would suggest is that you take the time to ensure that your written word in every single post is of such quality that nobody would question your skill. Make every effort in all of your public writing to show your skills.

The suggestion of $0.005 per word is probably too high with your demonstrated skill level thus far.

There is a huge demand for writers, but it depends on the quality you are producing. You will find some who aren't willing to pay as much as others. If you produce quality writing, and put your best effort into everything you put out, you will get more clients who are willing to pay more.

You can offer services at freelance sites, but many are competing for very cheap, so be sure that you are offering to do the service for a price that is reasonable for you to do the job.

It is quite hard work to get work as a writer; my gf is freelance writer and sees that is much (much!!!) easier to get high paying jobs offline than it is online. While online you can get anything from $0.005 - $0.05, it is mostly more towards the lower end of the scale. Offline you can very very easily get $80+ for 1 article (which is not even an A4 on a normal font). Online competition and ignorance of online publishers (quantity over quality and cheap is better) drives the price down I guess.

But working online is more relaxed for sure, so if anyone can enlighten us to were the more interesting amounts can be made we would be interested :)

How good are you? If you are great... start a post saying QUALITY ARTICLES - $20... then of course offer reviews of your product for $5.00 or so... do not even list a range of word count... makes you sound like you only care about running up the WC and not the quality... Let the reviews.. do what they are supposed to do, review.. If you are great... you will be paid so, if you are mediocre, you will get work occasionally but cannot command prices.
