Arsenal Loses As Premier League Becomes 4 horse race

Liverpool and Arsenal lost over the weekend. With the slip up, it becomes so apparent that it may end up being a 4 horse race.

Still sitting at pole position, Arsenal is only 1 point ahead of Manchester United. Chelsea and now third after a string of victories by the new manager, and fourth is Liverpool.

What makes it a 4 horse race? Portsmouth and Man City are level with Liverpool, though Liverpool has a game in hand. The chasing pack are still too close to call this one a traditional 4 horse race, a lot can still happen.

Both Portsmouth and Liverpool are on 30 points, although the Reds have a game in hand.

Everton are in seventh, three behind Liverpool.

It'll be between Arsenal and United.

Liverpool never had a chance of winning it anyway, and Chelsea will collapse when Drog leaves ;)

I cant believe how optimistic some people are. And I'm not saying this coz I'm a United fan, but because no one, expect perhaps Liverpool(who are out of form), has the team to beat manutd.

Chelsea havent been able to do shit after Jose left.

Arsenal is just riding their luck at the moment. If you took Cesc and Kolo Toure out of the team, they'd be struggling for a 4th spot finish.

ManU has the starting eleven, the depth in squad(people like Carrick, Brown, Nani, Anderson, Pique and Saha on the bench when the best 11 are playing), and the quality to beat any team in the premiership.

Hell we're only 1 point behind at Christmas after a horrendous start to the season and our best player(Scholesey :D :D) injured.

I have to agree with you to a certain extent. The latest news is that Drogba will not be around at least for the next 3 weeks. As whether he'll be leaving or not, that's not sure. But surely Chelsea and Liverpool are contenders for the top spot.

Unfortunately, Liverpool just don't have the luck to win season-long trophy. They, however, are good at Group games, such as the Champion League.

Forget about Portsmouth and Everton... yeah, they're a few points behind, the chance is there. Honestly, how much chance is there for them to win the Premier League title? They have to get through several other teams, not to mention the top 4.

So... it could be a 2-horse race, between ManU and Arsenal, or a 4-horse, between the current top-4.
