    The OS would not reboot so they needed to reinstall it and are now transferring accounts over. Updates are posted on their site. even I am started to get annoyed now, I have lost at least a hundred dollars during this time and even more in good publicity and the sites excellent record, I cant even post saying that the site is down due to host issues....its been 2 days now, and I was told it would be completed yesterday.

    So surfers know that the site is down instead of getting blank white page or

    ERROR! Could not locate remote server....
    is there any host that can adopt our site for few more days?

    Need help fast...

    If they adopt your site, you'll need to change nameservers, which can take 2 days and then another 2 days to change them back, so it's best just to do nothing.

    Hello All clients and readers.
    This is Jason, Now lets address the frustrating part of this! 50 FRICKIN hours of down time, I can NOT beleive this myself. IwhiC has hosted for well going on a year in January and we have in the past ( the first 3 Months ) had issues getting a good server / data center / once we started exploading we decided we needed somthing better than what we had as we were going through a 3rd party to get our servers. We then found our home at caro.net.
    Our servers with them have had no MAJOR issues untill this week. All are issues that we did have were fixed and resolved with in 1/2 hour.
    NOW. We state 99% Uptime. We had to this point 99.59% That is now shot............. SO what to do to resolve this ussue.
    As stated to all clients that have bought from us we will add extra MONTHS to your purchase.
    We will sort that out, when I can get into our billing system.

    Now last nigth I was so frustrated. I had been UP with no sleep for 3 days. I spent time clicking my way back and forth through over 50 ongoing IM on yahoo, explaining what was going on.
    Now this was expected. I was so damn exausted last night I fell asleep at the computer with my feet up on the desk, I woke up this morning at 4 am and started updating every one! I do opolagize for me falling out the way I did and not getting back to the forum.
    We will be live today and all accounts will be resolved. As it stands right now we are at 58% Done.
    Now I understand Clients are made! I under stand frustration and we are deeeeeeeeply sorry this. I have worked so hard to build IwhiC and sense joining and offering our hosting on DP our sales have exploded and we thank you!
    We will be making some HUGE changes to our server network as this new year comes. We will be adding
    Back up server
    Data mirror servers
    email servers
    MySQL server

    We have been discussing this with our sales manager and we had planned on making these changes in the first quarter of next year.

    Now I will repost to this forum here shortly and I have answered all PM'S if you need to contact me direct

    Hi everyone

    I been on Jason's hosting for 2 weeks now. I moved my arcade over because we needed better resources. Jason was very helpful with the transfer and has always answered my Emails promptly. I am frustrated also because my site was young and I had some paid ads running and to be honest if an arcade is down to long guys just remove the bookmarks and move on ( there are alot of them out there ) and some of my banner exchanges have dropped me. However I run another big site on another server and I understand how frustrating it can be. We designed our own software and serve some data from a machine in our house on my other site. These things take time to get resolved and I am sick about all this but I trust things will get back up today. I know how hard it is to run a good business online and I appreciate what you are doing Jason ( lets just hope it is all over today ). BTW a few years ago this same thing happened to me with another site with another hosting company and the guys running it disapeared so I give Jason props for being professional and standing behind his company. I worked tech support for Verizon for some years before going online and I know what he is getting from some guys aint pretty.

    We will have this completed soon we are 89% done with the data transfer. Then we have to resync the accounts with cPanel.

    I am hoping no more than 3 more hours. I will keep you posted.

    I was in the same shoes as you last year, and would never start a webhosting company if such issues like this would persist.

    This is why we MUST have backup servers so that if any server fails another server automatically and without delay takes over that server's workload. For example, if one of our OS breaks down another server automatically comes online, with all the correct configuration, and takes over the work of the failed server. During this period no email is lost.


    My opinion IwhiC is a great hosting, but should work more on organization of each server and the fastest route the server can take for less down time so that all data is stored in two large network disk arrays and that the data is automatically synchronised between the arrays so that in the event of an array failing the remaining array continues to serve data to the servers with no downtime.

    All data transfer is completed. We are in progress of resyncing of the accounts to cPanel. Im sorry to say we will miss the 1:00pm time I wanted. Though we are so close. Just a little longer.

    Not a simple reboot.

    They gotta backup unpack and cleanup, depending on server spec and how many accounts it could take a few days. Keep calm they said theyre working on it so give them some time... There is no snapping fingers and expecting results in the world of reseller hosting....
