Free site/domain auction tool for DigitalPoint

This is the official launch of a site/domain auction site specifically built for DP. The auction site allows you to post an image on DP (and/or elsewhere) with auction details. The image automatically updates with latest bid and current BIN.

When you create your auction you provide some basic stats (visitors, page views, earnings) as well as auction specifics (starting bid, minimum increase amount, bin). Your auction can run for 1 to 7 days and have deadline extension from 5 minutes to 24 hours to prevent last minute bidding.

Registration on the site is simple; just send me a PM with “password” in the subject and your selected password as the only text in the message (the sites script reads the email sent to me when I get a PM). You can then go the site and log in.

This means that all users have the same username as on DP, so it’s easy to lookup reputation and iTrader for any seller (or buyer).

Don't you have to bid on your site in order for your image to be auto-updated ?

If so, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of actually bidding on DP ??

 

Ummmm, yep....... Image still shows $25.00 even after I placed a higher bid.

 

Yes you have to bid on that site.

The purpose of using this tool is that it gives you:

• An actual set deadline
• Minimum increase setting, eliminating people bidding +$1 when you've stated $5 increase.
• Auction ends on BIN being bidded
• You can post the image with link on other forums and/or sites to increase exposure without having to update bids across forums (no more "recieved $XXX from forum-Y).

I'm certain other reasons can be thought out.

so are you selling the site/script or are you just alerting DP members that this service is now available?

Just wanted you to know that I've fixed an issue on the site. It's now possible for others than me to log in.

Registration worked fine all along, you just couldn't log in, but now you can.
