Since when does this become a Freebie???

I received 2 infractions, well actually about 5 last night due to some moderator going on an infraction hunt or something, but 2 of them were specifically retarded.

It was in regards to 2 threads where I either offered a service for payment, or offered to sell something for a cheap price.

One thread was that I would stumble their site, and give tags and reviews. They would pay me for each site that I did, then I would do the work. To me, there's nothing "Freebie" about that, which is the argument in the infraction.

If you are doing a service, and somebody is paying you for it, then how the hell is that considered a "Freebie"?

My other one is for selling a domain name at 10 cents. I SOLD a product, received the money for it, yet it should also be considered a "Freebie"?

Could somebody please check on these mods, because I think one of them got pissed off last night and just went around throwing random infractions around for no good reason.

My other ones were for bumping threads, of course all those posts have been deleted. They were, however, for letting people know specifically how many items were left at a bonus price. I feel that is very useful, and don't understand how it is considered to be "bumping a thread", but whatever. I can't prove anything there with the posts being deleted.

I understand if this thread gets me ANOTHER infraction, but I have to bring it to the attention of somebody. There seems to be a mod out there on a power trip, and it needs to be looked at. Yes, this could probably get me banned too, because I am now up to 8 infractions, and I really have no idea why, as I don't go around posting spammy crap and trying to work the system. I don't even care about my post count, reputation, or things like that. I'm just here to build my business and get great ideas from the people here.

So, in short, What the hell is going on here?

I understand the first link, and read through it, but still had to complain because some people seem to throw their "power" around with no regard. It should be pointed out to somebody.

Maybe a suggestion to come out of it would be to limit infractions to only 1 per thread? Whoever it was claimed that not only was the thread in the wrong category (and people were paying $5+, not nickles and dimes), but also flagged 3 posts in the thread as bumping.

I also understand from the first link you posted that I will probably get another infraction from this thread, and am all ready for it. I consider the infractions that I got to be wrong, and want it to be noticed.

Your second link does make sense, and I didn't notice it before. Thank you for making me aware of it, and I will remember that in the future.

Based on that, how do I go about moving a current thread? ;)

Wait, I just checked, and it's already in the right place. I don't remember if I set it up there or not, so I'll be looking for yet another infraction email just in case...

If your aware of it now, your infractions will expire over time. And you shouldn't have another problem :)

There have been many threads on itrader abuse regarding sale of items or services with low payout. At this time such threads belong in freebies.

Your bumping infractions were for the following type of posts

Such posts are a combination or the "PM sent bump" and the "count down bump." Both of these type posts are seen as posts that have little value other than to bump thread. Check the bumping sticky in buy, sell, and trade to see the type of posts always subject to a bumping infraction.
