Wow, this really sucks and is news to me.

I never thought of worrying about the sales I made on eBay a year ago coming back to haunt me.

I'm going to look into this further.

    Thanks for the info,

    Jen

i think you don't know much about reversal and dispute.... because it can be done 1 year.... so its is very much possible.... why you think paypal hold the money of a locked account for 6 months? because if during this 6 months period someone may ask for reversal... so its more then 60 days.. trust me on this as i have two years of horrible exp. on paypal reversal and now chargeback too....

Agreed. Such infor in their TOS.
Not sure but if you freally do not get what you paid for you can do it trough court - not sure if it help, but you can consider it as a try.
    Good luck anyway.

thats why early i said paypal 2checkout etc is not a solution for the sellers..

there is some myspace school kids who charges back their debit cards almost on every good and bad product service on internet.. they even use their uncles credit card info.. or big brothers..

when paypal ask their id.. they show their uncles...

credit debit card companies allow ppl to charge back even after 1 year..
and paypal allow 60 days for dispute..

e-gold was way better.. fund e-gold with cash or wire.. and sell e-gold for cash or wire.. no chargeback.. no reversal.. no dispute..

God knows why paypal indicted it.. oops.. USa indicted it.. oops.. fed laws indicted it..
