What's The Best Web Hosting That Doesn't Use cPanel?

It seems as though most on here like HostGator for their hosting but I can't stand cPanel. I will go with HostGator if it's clearly the best of the bunch but if there's something as good which doesn't use cPanel, I'd like to hear about it first. I really like Plesk as I use that with Precision Effect, but they can't compete with the deals that HostGator and others like them offer.

I really don't need a big package. Just something inexpensive for doing affiliate business with that can grow in time.

    Hi,

Have a look at UnitedHosting (http://www.unitedhosting.co.uk). I've been with them for a year on a reseller package and been extremey impressed.

Reasonably priced, outstanding support and not a CPanel in sight.

You can check Dreamhost, they have their own control panel and I like it more than CPanel. You can use this coupon code: 97HOSTREV and get $97 off your first year (teh coupon is good until December 11th, after that it will be only $50 off).

Check out freepgs.com. Its a one time fee, and it's really cheap. And unlimited bandwidth. I've been using them awhile with no problems. I don't use much bandwidth though :)
