hi adwords experts, is it possible to get less than 5 cents per click from google and still have 30+ clicks each day? if so, how do i go about it? thanks
yes it IS... I'm doing it all the time, but you have to get creative and use keywords that aren't highly competitive. If you are looking to get clicks for "How to Make Money Online" for $0.05 ... then my answer is: NO WAY Tim
I am not sure how this can be. True one can limit bid to just 5 cents for long tail keywords, but not many are going to search for such key phrases. So wouldn't 30 clicks or more be impossible?
It's not impossible, it's just improbable. I've got some ad groups bringing me visitors for 3 cents or so per click, but it is on the content network. Have relevant content, enticing ads, and low competition for those keywords.
It's neither impossible nor improbable, and you can certainly do it on the search network. Your minimum bid isn't determined by your competitors' terms, just by the relevance of your site and advert (and the clickthrough rate) to the keyword. Most of my keywords on any of the accounts that I manage have a minimum bid of £0.03 or £0.02. That said, bidding your minimum bid on popular terms will put your advert a long way down in the search results. So to get a lot of traffic, you need to be bidding on terms with only a few competitors (so that you appear on page 1). And they need to be terms that people are searching for. That said, 30 clicks per day for an entire campaign isn't that many, so it shouldn't be that hard...
